Our laboratory aims to make the most reliable diagnosis within the shortest time possible and to report results in line with international standards. Our laboratory has archive, storeroom and microscopy rooms along with macroscopy unit where tissues are examined with bare eyes, and routine histology characterized with technical procedures, cytopathology that enables evaluation at cellular level and the immunohistochemistry unit where special histochemistry dyes and standardized devices are used for necessary conditions. Moreover, intraoperative examination (frozen section) is performed for conditions that require pathological examination to lead the course of surgery and results are reported quickly.
