Immunology implies the science of immune system. Allergy means an abnormal reaction against the agents which should not normally provoke reaction of the immune system. Allergic Diseases include allergic rhinitis (hay fever, spring allergy), allergic asthma and skin allergies.
In daily life, pollens, home dust mite, cat- dog hairs and fungi cause allergic diseases that involve eyes, nose and respiratory tract. Medications, various chemical substances, and dyes can cause redness, itching and blisters on skin. Some foods (milk, egg, dried fruits, fish, and sea food) may also cause allergic reactions especially in children.
